Managing Special Needs Behavior

Behavior management is hard!
There, I've said it! It takes years to establish your own style of behavior management, but here are some essential areas that I have discussed in my new revision of How to Be a Resource Specialist.

  1. Awesome points, Laura. Connecting and talking to the student are my management go to's. By knowing your student, you are learning what might have brought on unwanted behavior and how to help avoid it. Plus by talking to your student, you are developing rapport and respect. Both are needed in productive classroom management.
